Our goal at The Towne Creek School is to provide a summer program packed with valuable learning and growing experiences that meet our campers’ individual needs and capabilities and offers a balance of learning and fun! Our experienced staff help create and support a program of the highest quality for your child.
Facility
Our facility allows us to offer a variety of activities throughout the camp day. Campers make great use of our extensive field area, indoor gym, library, computer room, age-based developmental playgrounds, and the in-ground swimming pool during the summer. We also have a Sport Court where campers can play basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton and more. Our new Kindergarten/Afterschool addition is the home base for K-6 Summer Camp.
Curriculum and Summer Themes
The summer curriculum is planned by the outstanding teachers at The Towne Creek School. Weekly Summer 2023 Themes for each group can be found below.
Splash Days
Each week, twos through sixth grade have a scheduled “Splash Day.” The Two-Year-old’s play in sprinklers, the threes play in sprinklers or on a water slide, and PreK through 6th grade enjoy both these things plus the swimming pool. Check your child’s What’s Happening to see when your child will splash this summer.
Free Swim Program
Our free swim program is part of the curriculum offered to campers in the PreK classes and up. Our pool is monitored by lifeguards who have been certified in the Red Cross or the YMCA certification program. The PreK students swim twice a week while Kindergarten thru Sixth grade enjoys this opportunity daily. Free Swim Schedule
Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are offered for children three years and up (children must be three years of age on or before June 1, 2023).

Specialty Camps (Kindergarten through Sixth Grade)
Specialty Camps are offered throughout the summer for campers in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. These three to five-day camps focus on a particular interest or skill taught by staff specialized in those skills. The schedule is planned so that the children participate in the Specialty Camp one to two hours per day and can still take advantage of the other activities planned for the day.
Field Trips and Permission Slips (Threes through Sixth Grade)
Our summer program is enhanced by various field trips for students in the three-year-old through sixth-grade programs. The threes go on walking field trips in the nearby vicinity and enjoy In-House Field Trips. Pre-Kindergarten classes take a field trip once or twice a month, and the summer campers (Kindergarten through sixth grade) take field trips throughout the summer.
CLICK HERE to access permission slips.
All students attending field trips must have a completed permission slip signed by their parent or guardian. Students and staff must wear their Towne Creek T-shirts on the field trip. Parents can purchase t-shirts at the front office. (Kinder through Sixth Grade summer T-shirts are included in their summer supply fee).
Please Note: Field trips are part of the camp curriculum. If your child chooses not to attend a field trip, you will need to find alternate child care for that day.
