Our goal at The Towne Creek School is to provide a summer program packed with valuable learning and growing experiences that meet our campers’ individual needs and capabilities and offers a balance of learning and fun!
The Towne Creek School has had the same Owner/Executive Director, Judy Feinstein, since 1983. Many administrators and staff have been with the school for over ten years. The longevity and experience of degreed staff, along with the creativity and enthusiasm of new team members, help create and support a program of the highest quality for your child.
Our facility allows us to offer a variety of activities throughout the camp day. Campers make great use of our extensive field area, indoor gym, library, computer room, age-based developmental playgrounds, and the in-ground swimming pool during the summer. We also have added a Sport Court where campers can play basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton and more. In summer 2020, our new Kindergarten/Afterschool addition will be the home base for Kindergarten through Sixth-grade students.
The summer curriculum is planned by the outstanding teachers at The Towne Creek School. Each week a “What’s Happening” will be posted on the website by Friday afternoon, informing you of the coming week’s highlights and activities. What’s Happenings can be found by clicking on Parent Resources on the home page. (Our staff will give the password to you at the beginning of the session). Teachers strive to provide a structured, balanced day with various activities and experiences that campers find interesting, challenging, and enjoyable. Parents can find detailed information on this summer’s planned themes and activities by clicking on the links below:

Each week, twos through sixth grade have a scheduled “Splash Day.” The Two-Year-old’s play in sprinklers, the threes play in sprinklers or on a water slide, and PreK through 6th grade enjoy both these things plus the swimming pool. Click on the calendar below to find your child’s Splash Day.
Free Swim Program
Our free swim program is part of the curriculum offered to campers in the PreK classes and up. Our pool is monitored by lifeguards who have been certified in the Red Cross or the YMCA certification program. The PreK students swim twice a week while Kindergarten thru Sixth grade enjoys this opportunity daily. Elementary Campers’ Free Swim schedule changes daily and is based on their group. Please ask your child their group number, then check the Free Swim Rotation Calendar to see what time they will be swimming each day. (Please note: This schedule may be subject to change).
Free Swim Schedule
Swim lessons are offered for children three years and up (children must be three years of age on or before June 1, 2021). Our pool is 4 feet deep at the deepest end and is excellent for teaching new swim skills to our younger campers and for encouraging our older campers to practice their swimming skills. Our “Learn To Swim” program covers all skills except deep-water swimming and diving and is taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor. Swim lessons are offered in two-week sessions, consisting of 8 classes of skill teaching and two lessons of skill practice/swim fun.
Spaces are limited, and enrollment is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Specialty Camps (Kindergarten through Sixth Grade)
Specialty Camps are offered throughout the summer for campers in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. These three to five-day camps focus on a particular interest or skill taught by staff specialized in those skills. The schedule is planned so that the children participate in the Specialty Camp one to two hours per day and can still take advantage of the other activities planned for the day.
Field Trips and Permission Slips (Threes through Sixth Grade)
Our summer program is enhanced by various field trips for students in the three-year-old through sixth-grade programs. The threes go on walking field trips in the nearby vicinity and enjoy In-House Field Trips. Pre-Kindergarten classes take a field trip once or twice a month, and the summer campers (kindergarten through sixth grade) take field trips weekly. Click on the links below to find out where your class will be going this summer!
All students attending field trips must have a completed permission slip signed by their parent or guardian to accompany them. Students and staff must wear their Towne Creek T-shirts on the field trip, and parents can purchase t-shirts at the front office. (Kinder through Sixth Grade summer T-shirts are included in their summer supply fee).
Please Note: Field trips are part of the camp curriculum. If your child chooses not to attend a field trip, you will need to find alternate child care for that day.
