For those of you who would like to support Towne Creek during this unfortunate time in all of our lives…
Parents have asked us – what can we do to help get Towne Creek through the next few months?
If you have asked us not to credit your March tuition, we truly appreciate your lovely gesture.
If you would like to pay April tuition, I won’t stop you, but you’re under no obligation. And it is truly appreciated! You are welcome to help, however you wish, to ensure that we are as strong as we’ve ever been and have the best staff that we’ve ever had, once we reopen in more healthier times.
Daily, the government has passed new laws providing for tax credits, SBA loans, paid sick and family leave, unemployment issues, Economic Injury Disaster Loan, Families First Coronavirus Response Act, Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES), just to name a few. I have tried to digest what is being passed and the best way to apply it to our situation. I have applied for government aid as well as bank lines of credit. My goal is to keep this school healthy and strong, and to pay our staff as long as I can. And if I cannot, make sure that they understand what their rights and opportunities are under the new unemployment laws.
It can be a very confusing exercise, and if any of you have any expertise in this area that you would like to share, I welcome your input and knowledge.
