Our goal at The Towne Creek School is to provide a summer program packed with valuable learning and growing experiences that meet the individual needs and capabilities of our campers and offers a balance of learning and fun!
The Towne Creek School has had the same Owner/Executive Director, Judy Feinstein, since 1983. Many administrators and staff have been with the school for over ten years. The longevity and experience of degreed staff, along with the creativity and enthusiasm of new team members, help create and support a program of the highest quality for your child.
Our facility affords us the opportunity to offer a variety of activities throughout the camp day. During the summer, campers make great use of our large field area, indoor gym, library/computer room, game room, our age-based developmental playgrounds, and the in-ground swimming pool.
The summer curriculum is planned by the outstanding teachers at The Towne Creek School. Each week you will receive a “What’s Happening” on Thursdays informing you of the coming week’s highlights and activities. Teachers strive to provide a structured, balanced day with a variety of activities and experiences that campers will find interesting, challenging and enjoyable. Detailed information on this summer’s planned themes and activities can be found by clicking on the appropriate age group link below:

Specialty Camps are offered throughout the summer for campers in First through Sixth Grade. These are week-long camps that focus on a particular interest or skill, and are taught by staff specialized in those skills. The schedule is planned so that the children participate in the Specialty Camp one to two hours per day and are still able to take advantage of the other activities planned for the day. Camps we have held in the past include Art Camp, Theater Camp, Science Camp, Dance Camp, Basketball Camp, Baseball Camp, Soccer Camp, Cheerleading Camp, Computer Camp, and Culinary Camp. Our free swim program is part of the daily curriculum offered to campers age 5 and up. Our pool is monitored by lifeguards who have been certified in the Red Cross or the YMCA certification program. The children enjoy this daily opportunity to cool off and play games planned by the pool staff.

Swim lessons are offered for children 3 years and up (children must be 3 years of age by August 31, 2011). Our pool is 4 feet deep at the deepest end, and is great for teaching new swim skills to our younger campers, and for encouraging our older campers to practice their swimming skills. Our “Learn To Swim” program covers all skills with the exception of deep-water swimming and diving, and is taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor. Swim lessons are offered in two-week sessions, consisting of 8 lessons of skill teaching, and 2 lessons of skill practice/swim fun.
Spaces are limited and enrollment is based on a first come, first served basis.
